പൊന്മുടി പനോരമയില്‍...
തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തെ ഒരു പ്രധാന വിനോദസഞ്ചാര കേന്ദ്രമായ പൊന്മുടിയുടെ ഒരു പനോരമ ദൃശ്യം. പൊന്മുടിയിലെ ഉയരം കൂടിയ രണ്ട് കുന്നുകളാണ്‌ ചിത്രത്തില്‍ കാണുന്നത്. അവിടേക്കെത്തുവാനായുള്ള റോഡിന്റെ ഓരത്തു നിന്നും പകര്‍ത്തിയതാണ്‌ ഈ ചിത്രം. പനോരമ തയ്‍ക്കുവാനായി ലഭ്യമായ ഹഗിന്‍ എന്ന സ്വതന്ത്ര പാനോടൂള്‍ ആപ്ലിക്കേഷന്‍ ഉപയോഗിച്ചാണ്‌ ഈ പനോരമ തയ്യാറക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നത്.

Good
There is absolutely no need to shoot at high ISO for landscapes. Take the apperture to the lowest possible value and increase the speed to manage the light.
Expose three different settings to capture the three levels of lighting. And combine them in Photoshop (file > Automate > merge to HDR. ) the resulting image will be a 32 bit. You can convert this to 16bit and manage the lightness and shadows.
Yes this would have been an outstanding image.

* Ordered one now, with a ball head. Not very costly, but the reviews suggest it is pretty good for the price of ~3000.
I read Scott Kelby's Digital Photography Volume #1 and tried to apply the various tips he suggested for landscape photography in this image. (Of course, I skipped his advice to use a tripod and to shoot at a lower ISO. :-|)

I usually take landscapes at lowest ISO and aperture. But never tried HDR yet.
പിന്നെ ചിത്രം അല്പം കൂടിയ resolutionൽ അപ്ലോഡ് ചെയ്തിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ നന്നായിരിന്നു. ഇത് ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്ത് വലുതാക്കിയാലും വ്യക്തമായി കാണാൻ സാധിക്കുന്നില്ല.
HDR + പനോരമ സാധിച്ചെടുക്കുവാന്‍ കുറച്ചധികം മിനക്കെടേണ്ടി വരും! :) മിനക്കെടാതെ നല്ല ചിത്രങ്ങള്‍ കിട്ടുകയുമില്ല!
Flickr-ല്‍ പോസ്റ്റുന്ന പടങ്ങളാണ്‌ ഇവിടെ വരുത്തുന്നത്, ഞാന്‍ നല്‍കിയത് കൂടിയ റെസലൂഷനുള്ള ഒരു ചിത്രമാണ്‌, പക്ഷെ ഫ്ലിക്കറത് 1024-ലേക്ക് വീതി കുറച്ചു. എന്താണോ കാര്യം!

പനോരമ അല്ലാത്ത ഫോട്ടോ ആയിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍ നന്നായേനെ.
ഈ ഫോട്ടോയ്ക്ക് ബാലന്‍സ് ഇല്ല. വലതു ഭാഗവും ഇടതു ഭാഗവും രണ്ടു ഫോട്ടോ ആയി കൊള്ളാം. രണ്ടും കൂടി ചേര്‍ന്നപ്പോള്‍ അണ്‍ റിയല്‍ ആയി പോയി.
ഉദാഹരണത്തിന് വലതു ഭാഗത്ത്‌ മുകളില്‍ കാണുന്നത് സൂര്യന്‍ ആണെങ്കില്‍ ഇടതു ഭാഗത്ത്‌ കാണുന്ന ആള്‍ക്കാരുടെ നിഴല്‍ അങ്ങനെ ആണോ വരേണ്ടത്?
പിന്നെ HDR ന്റെ ആവശ്യം ഇല്ല. ലൈറ്റ് വളരെ നന്നായിട്ടുണ്ട്.

lijesh-ന്റെ സൂക്ഷ്മമായ നോട്ടത്തിനൊരു സല്യൂട്ട്. :) പക്ഷെ, പനോരമകളില്‍ നിഴല്‍ അങ്ങിനെയല്ലാതെ വരുമെന്നു തോന്നുന്നില്ല. സത്യത്തില്‍ സൂര്യന്റെ സ്ഥാനം നടക്കുന്നവരുടെ വലതു വശമാണ്‌.
പനോരമ എടുക്കുക എന്നതായിരുന്നെന്നേ ഉദ്ദേശം, അല്ലാത്ത ചിത്രങ്ങള്‍ വേറേയുമുണ്ട്. ബാലന്‍സ് കുറവിന്‌ ഒരു കാരണം മേഖങ്ങളാണ്‌, അതിങ്ങനെ കാറ്റത്തു മേലേക്കൂടെ പോവുമ്പോള്‍ നിഴല്‍ വന്നും പോയും ഇരിക്കും.
Flickr-ന്റെ ഒരു സെറ്റിംഗ് മാറി കിടന്നതാണ്‌. മറ്റൊരു പനോരമ കൂടിയുണ്ട്, അതും പോസ്റ്റാം.
